OVERVIEW
The Firestone Renovation is scheduled for a multiple phase construction period, lasting about 10 years. Among the most important goals of the renovation project are improving reader and study spaces, upgrading Rare Books & Special Collections areas, introducing sustainable building features, updating life-safety systems, and renovating graduate study rooms, exhibit spaces, and shelving areas in the library.
The renovation began in 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by late 2018. Click Phasing Legend image below to enlarge. We are currently in phase 6 of construction.
