Jesus was brought, bearing His cross, all the way to the place called Calvary, in Hebrew, Golgotha. Buckling under the weight of the cross, Jesus fell three times. While leaving the city, they met a man from Cyrene named Simon. They requested that he carry the cross with Jesus. Along the sorrow-filled way, the Son came across the Mother.
